The Burgoon Law Firm was founded in 2007 by attorney Brian Burgoon, who has been practicing law in Atlanta for 24 years.  Prior to starting the firm, he practiced law with one of Atlanta's largest and most reputable firms for over a decade.  He has handled all aspects of litigation matters in state and federal trial and appellate courts, and in arbitrations and mediations. He is admitted to practice law in Georgia and Florida.



The Burgoon Law Firm is a litigation and trial law firm that represents both plaintiffs and defendants in business disputes and litigation, commercial litigation, and civil litigation. The firm handles a wide variety of litigation matters in state and federal court and in arbitration, including complex business and contract disputes, real estate litigation, business torts, trade secrets and noncompete litigation, injunctions, civil litigation, and appeals.  The firm also handles the start-up and legal needs of businesses and their owners.  In addition, Brian Burgoon is both a Registered Mediator and a Registered Arbitrator with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, and has served as an arbitrator in numerous cases administered by the American Arbitration Association.  He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator on the CPR Panel, and as a Hearing Officer for employment matters for both the Atlanta Board of Education and the Fulton County Board of Education.  He has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Florida College of Law.
